Blackberry Smoke and Sexyy Red played great shows. The Turner Brothers from Blackberry Smoke found out about a young 22 year old mother in the hospital with Lukemia. Not a bad seat anywhere and unlike arenas, you can see and here the show at the vendors and restrooms. The Show was great! More importantly was the compassion and honor they showed towards her. They took the time to visit her in the hospital. It was a wonderful gesture of caring. They returned and told the boys from Sexyy Red about her. The pinewood bowl is a great place for concerts. Even more impressive, this was done behind the scenes. In a world where so many stars are just full of themselves, it was great to find that Blackberry Smoke and Sexyy Red both still remember what it really means to be a star. They signed a guitar and gave it to her mother to give to her. None of them were looking for publicity or photo ops, just looking to do a selfless act of kindness that meant a great deal. May God bless them all.
